MEMOSian Carlotta Giussani from Italy of MEMOS XXVII in English has a new role at the European Olympic Committee: Director.

From EOC Director Giussani: “Since its establishment, the European Olympic Committees EU Office – EOC EU Office has evolved into a trusted partner of the European institutions and a recognised voice of the Olympic Movement – shaping EU sport policy, facilitating access to funding, and strengthening the capacity of our network across Europe.

I would like to sincerely thank Folker Hellmund for his legacy, the European Olympic Committees – EOC leadership for the trust placed in me, and to all those who have supported and believed in my work over the past years.

Looking ahead, the focus remains clear: ensuring that European NOCs and partners can actively contribute to EU sport policy and translate European priorities into meaningful, impactful initiatives for sport, with the support of EU sport funding programmes.”
