MEMOS XIX in English graduate Aldi Bichman was elected to serve as Secretary General for the Israeli National Olympic Committee.

Secretary General Aldi Bichman graduated in 2016 with her project titled: “Engaging and integrating female Arab athletes in competitive sport : the Israeli case”. Please use this link to view her thesis project in the Olympic Library.

Aldi Bichman is an Olympian and seasoned sports executive with leadership experience across national and international sport organizations. Former Sydney 2000 swimmer and current Chair of the Israel Aquatics Federation, with prior roles in the European Olympic Committee as NOC Sport Committee Chair and EYOF Committee Member. Holds senior academic leadership positions at Ono Academic College, supported by a strong multidisciplinary education including an Executive Master’s in Sports Organization Management, an M.A. in Women and Gender Studies, a B.Sc. in Computer Science, and a B.A. in Psychology & Sport Management. Recognized for strategic leadership, governance expertise, and advancing sport through policy, education, and organizational development.
