MEMOS Convention III Call for Abstracts
Rome, Italy, 3-5 December 2025
MEMOS and Olympic Solidarity are proud to invite you to present at its 3rd Convention in Rome, Italy, 3-5 December 2025.
The MEMOS Convention is an inclusive and engaging educational, cultural, and networking event created by MEMOSIANS for MEMOSIANS. The Convention will concentrate on knowledge sharing, engaging and challenging discussions with opportunities for future project development, developing sport organizations, and discussions on the MEMOSIAN network and how it can support the development of the Olympic Movement. To cater to all participants’ needs, a simultaneous interpretation into French and Spanish will be provided.
The Convention will be a 3-day event to connect, learn, network, and experience the local culture, considering that MEMOSIANS will travel from all over the world. The program will include cultural and sports activities to enhance the experience.
As the MEMOS Convention III aims to share knowledge within the Memosian community and build networks, we ask every Memosian who wants to participate to contribute to the Convention’s program. To participate, you are to submit an abstract for a presentation that fits the theme or subthemes of the Convention.
Convention Theme
The main theme for the convention is The Future of the Olympic Movement. The subthemes are:
- The Evolving Olympic Landscape (e.g., esports series, digitalization, and climate change)
- Effective Strategies for Safe Sport
- Olympic AI Agenda: The future of AI for NOCs
- The Impact of My MEMOS Project
- Miscellaneous (presentation related to the future of the Olympic Movement but does not fit one of the other specific subthemes)
For those presenting on the impact of their MEMOS project, Olympic Solidarity will select the best presentation, and the person will be given a new award (like the Madella Award but for actual project impact). Stay tuned for more details on this new award!
