MEMOS In French at the International Olympic Academy in Greece
From the International Olympic Academy in Ancient Olympia:
The Executive Masters in Sport Organisation Management (MEMOS) started their 10th edition in French at the International Olympic Academy, November 5-15, 2023. Coordinated by LUNEX University in Luxembourg and bolstered by the support of Olympic Solidarity, MEMOS is dedicated to enhancing advanced sport management skills among key figures within the Olympic family.
In the historic setting of Olympia, the IOA Dean, Professor Konstantinos Georgiadis welcomed the Professors of the programme and the 25 participants from National Olympic Committees and (inter)national sport federations worldwide who converged to immerse themselves in an intensive learning experience. The program focused on honing expertise in governance, strategic management, and human resources management. Over the course of their 10-day stay at the Academy, participants not only delved into theoretical aspects but also engaged in practical applications of these skills.
As part of their experience, participants explored the archeological site of Olympia, drawing inspiration that will undoubtedly contribute to their mission of promoting sport, its core values and Olympism upon their return to their respective countries.
